Welcome to Camelot.  Ken and Lois Watkins will be cruising with Camelot for the next year or two.  Camelot is a 44’ Nova Embassy.  We are from Baltimore, Maryland and plan to begin the ‘Great Loop’ in April 2015 from Myrtle Beach.

We are currently spending our time on the boat in Myrtle Beach, SC. The weather here is wonderful compared to back home. Our daytime temps are running from the 50’s to 70. They say this spring got a very late start, but it is definitely lovely now.

This is the lighthouse for Coquina Harbor which is where we are tied up at the Myrtle Beach Yacht Club.

 

We had two dolphins (they are actually porpoises) come visiting in December. This one came really close to the boat. I had trouble trying to get a good picture since they are so fast and only come up long enough to get a breath.

 

When we start our trip north next month we will be stopping at some new ports along the route, since we have stopped at most places 3 times already. We’re looking forward to the trip and will keep you posted.
